Benjamin Zephania Announced As Storyhouse’s Artist In Residence

Over a 40-year career he has published more than a dozen collections of poetry, along with plays, novels and children’s books, recorded radical reggae music, and more. Award-winning performance poet Benjamin Zephaniah has been revealed as Storyhouse’s artist in residence for 2021/22. Benjamin Zephaniah was born and grew up in Birmingham where he first performed in public aged 10. His work is strongly influenced by the music and poetry of Jamaica and what he calls ‘street politics’. Guild Guitars announce collaboration with the Bob Marley Family

This new collaboration sees the creation of the Guild A-20 Marley acoustic. It’s modelled on a Guild Madeira A-20, the same guitar Marley used at his home in Jamaica for song writing. The A-20 Marley comes with a number of additions in tribute to the musician. In terms of accessories, it ships with a custom recycled nylon gig bag and a range of custom guitar picks, as well as a poster and a booklet featuring the story of the collaboration as well as the chords to Three Little Birds.
